Not nearly as scary as The Draft, volunteering at the Lake is a couple-hours-a-year, have a good time, breath fresh air and feel good about yourself commitment.
You can help out on Lake Clean Up Day, join an event committee, help with lawn-mowing. or donate supplies, services, or (always welcome) cash.
Learn more in the sections below, then let us know how you want to get involved.
Check the events listing for the dates and times of this Springtime event. During cleanup, we do whatever's needed to spruce up the place for the upcoming season. Raking, painting, carpentry, and more - there's something for any age or ability to do.
We're always looking for help to plan, organize, set up, supply, carry out, or tear down events. The more who help, the less there is for any one person to do - and the more creative we can get.
We're asking all members to help out with cutting the grass or raking the Lake at least once a season. (Raking removes trash, debris, and vegetation that has settled on the lake bottom.) We'll provide the equipment and tell you just what to do. Please contact us to pick a week to help out.
Did you know that the Hull Plan Lake Association accepts donations of cash and other usable items for the benefit of the grounds and our members? We will accept sheds, building materials, sporting goods, and other outdoor items. Please contact us to make a donation.
If you're wondering how things are run at the Lake Association, stop by at the Annual Meeting. This is when we plan the events and projects, elect officers, and discuss anything else related to the Lake. It's a great chance to have your voice heard.
