What Happens at the Lake, Stays at the Lake

Well, that one's not really a hard-and-fast rule; but these ones are:

Members Only

The Lake is for use by dues-paying members only, (Yes, this entitles you to turn up your collar.) You're a dues-paying member if you've paid your dues for the current year, or if you are a member of a household where someone has paid dues for the year. Members are welcome to bring guests to the Lake, but must be there along with them.

Hours

There are no restrictions on the hours you can be at the Lake. However, we do ask you to keep the noise level low between 9 pm and 8 am, as a courtesy to those who live nearby.

Fires and Firewood

Firewood is stored at the Lake for use during our events, which are open to all members.  Please don't use this firewood for private events and activities - bring your own. If you do have a fire at the Lake, be sure it is completely extinguished before leaving.

Trash Removal

The Lake does not have its own trash service.  You must remove all trash that you generate at the Lake.  Replace any trash can liners that you use, as well.

Pet owners must clean up after their pets.  Bring "doggie bags" when you bring your pet to the Lake, and take them home for disposal (don't put them in the Lake garbage cans).

Boats

Members are welcome to dock and lock boats, canoes, and kayaks at the Lake*, but must register them by contacting us.  Provide the type of boat, color, and any other distinguishing factor. Unregistered vessels will be removed.

Equipment

Sporting goods and other equipment are available in the locked storage shed on the property. These are for use during community events, but there may be items you can use for private events, as well ( horseshoes, badminton net, etc.)  Ask about it when you sign up the pavilion, and be sure to return anything you borrow in good condition.

Pavilion Rental

When you rent the pavilion, you have private use of the pavilion, shelter, and fire ring area.  This does not include other members' boats.  Please make sure your guests are not taking boats that do not belong to you out on the water.  The rest remains open to all members (the pathways, the dock, etc.)  (People tend to steer clear, though, when there's an event - and you are welcome to put a sign and balloons at the entrance.)

You are responsible to thoroughly clean up in a reasonable amount of time following your event. This includes (but is not limited to!) removing all trash and returning any equipment used.

*The Association is not responsible for, nor assumes any liability for, any marine vessel at the Lake by a member, nonmember, or guest.
