The bridge and spillway at the Lake are due for some significant repairs. Center Township will likely be closing the bridge on Lakewood soon, and it may stay closed through the winter. Why? They need time to collect bids on engineering and building a new bridge and spillway; and the work probably can't begin until Spring. The good news? Even though the Lake Association must cover the cost of repairing the spillway, the Township has agreed to pay for all repairs up front, put a lien on our property, and allow us to pay it off over time.
