If you thought New Year's Day was a quiet day meant for nursing hangovers, binge-watching movies, and carbo-loading on pork and sauerkraut, think again. It's apparently also for electing Hull Lake Association officers and planning Lake events. If you weren't aware this year - make your plans now for next year's annual meeting (1/1/2015) - because planning fun summer activities for our neighbors at the Lake is actually a great way to take your mind off of January, February and March.
At this year's meeting, we selected dates for monthly events (see the calendar); elected new officials (see the About section), and made plans for various improvements (surveys, continued Lake cleanup, and creating this Website.) In addition, neighbors got to see each other after months of being indoors, kids played together, and everyone enjoyed pizza and healthy snacks, thanks to the generous hospitality of the Rummels.
We're all excited about a new year for the Hull Lake - and hope you join in, too.
